Hay Making
We didn't intend to do a lot when we moved here but unfortunately when you have animals the momentum of farming soon starts to have an effect!Well its always a rush but once the grass has been cut and fluffed its wonderful! Our lovely John deer tractor came all the way from Scotland and it was really worth the effort...
We have 2 haybobs - a traditional one and this one which is called an acrobat. The Acrobat fluffs up the hay sooo... much its gorgeous.
If you visit us at the right time then you too might be able to help bring in the hay. Don't ask me when that time is as it all depends on the weather of course! - Usually June or August/September
