Bulat Breton Horse Fair

This is usually held on the second weekend in September.  this years was on 15th September.  All the youngstock in the area are brought here to be graded.  there's a busy market too with local produce and clothes.

Unfortunately the French seem to see it as more of a horse whipping sport.  I cannot understand this at all but they relish chasing each and every young horse around with sticks and whips.  If anyone knows why this is not curbed or what can be done please contact me....
